Appointments

Booking, Payment, Cancellation and Rescheduling

When you book an appointment with We of the Wild, that time is reserved especially for you. Clear arrangements allow me to prepare properly for our work together and make appointment times available fairly.

This policy applies to one-to-one neuro-somatic sessions and online mentoring. Separate terms apply to geomancy consultations, workshops, group programmes and special events.

Booking and payment

Payment is required in full at the time of booking through Acuity Scheduling. Your appointment is confirmed after payment has been completed and you have received the booking confirmation.

Please check that your contact details, appointment type, location and time zone are correct. You are responsible for attending at the confirmed time. All amounts shown during booking are in Australian dollars.

Rescheduling or cancelling

At least 48 hours beforeYou may reschedule once without charge. A cancellation may be transferred, retained as credit or refunded to the original payment method.
Between 24 and 48 hoursA fee equal to 50% of the booked service applies. The remaining 50% may be refunded or retained as credit.
Less than 24 hoursThe full appointment fee applies and will not ordinarily be refunded or transferred.
Non-attendanceThe full fee applies. A new payment is required before another appointment can be confirmed.

If the same appointment is rescheduled repeatedly, I may ask you to make a new booking or contact me before another time is reserved.

I recognise that genuine illness, emergencies and unexpected circumstances arise. Please contact me as soon as reasonably possible. On one occasion, I may choose to waive the cancellation fee or transfer your payment. This is considered individually and is not guaranteed.

If you have symptoms of a contagious illness, please do not attend in person. Where suitable, you may be offered an online appointment or a later time.

Late arrival

If you arrive late, the appointment will ordinarily finish at the original scheduled time. If you are more than 15 minutes late, there may not be enough time to work safely or meaningfully. The appointment may need to be shortened or rescheduled, and the less-than-24-hours terms may apply.

If I need to change your appointment

If I need to cancel or reschedule, I will contact you as soon as possible. You may transfer the booking, retain the full amount as credit or receive a full refund. No cancellation fee applies when I initiate the change.

Free 15-Min Connection Chat

There is no fee for this optional introductory conversation. If you cannot attend, please cancel or reschedule through Acuity as soon as possible. The conversation does not include assessment, treatment, kinesiology balancing or individual health advice.

Refund processing

Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method. Processing times are determined by the payment provider and financial institution.

Practice boundaries

Scope of Practice, Consent and Client Responsibilities

The nature of the work

My work brings together Neuro-Energetic Kinesiology, nervous-system and body-based enquiry, principles informed by Functional Neuro Health training, energetic and animist practice, geomancy and relationship with place. Sessions may explore physical structure, nervous-system function, primitive reflexes, emotional patterns, lived experience, energetic influences and the environments we inhabit.

I work within the boundaries of my training, experience and professional competence.

Complementary nature

We of the Wild services are complementary and educational. They do not provide medical or psychological diagnosis, emergency or crisis care, medical treatment, prescription or adjustment of medication, or a replacement for care from a qualified medical, psychological or allied health practitioner.

I may bring an observation or concern to your attention, but it should not be interpreted as a medical diagnosis. Please continue care recommended by your qualified healthcare providers and direct questions about medication, diagnosis or medical treatment to them.

Muscle testing

Muscle testing is an exploratory form of feedback used to help guide a session. It is not a medical test and is not used to diagnose illness, determine pathology or replace medical investigation.

What a session may involve

  • Conversation and reflection
  • Muscle testing
  • Gentle physical contact or movement
  • Exploration of nervous-system and structural patterns
  • Emotional or symbolic enquiry
  • Energetic or animist considerations
  • Guided awareness or visualisation
  • Practical suggestions for integration
  • Discussion of environmental or place-based influences

Not every session includes every element. The work responds to the individual, the purpose of the appointment and what can be appropriately supported within the available time.

Consent and personal choice

Your participation is voluntary. Before physical contact or an unfamiliar process, I will explain what I propose and seek your consent. Consent is ongoing throughout the session rather than assumed from booking.

You may ask questions, request an explanation, decline a technique or area of enquiry, ask for physical contact to stop, pause or end the session, or change your mind. If a declined element is necessary to provide the booked service safely or meaningfully, we will discuss another approach or whether the session should end.

Energetic, animist and spiritual enquiry

Energetic, animist, symbolic and spiritual perspectives are offered as pathways for enquiry. You are not required to adopt a particular belief or interpretation. Your perspective, boundaries and discernment will be respected. Energetic perceptions are not presented as medical diagnoses or objective proof of a health condition.

Your responsibilities

Please provide accurate and relevant information, including significant health conditions, acute pain or injury, pregnancy, recent surgery, medications affecting participation, significant changes in physical or emotional wellbeing, current care, and concerns about touch, movement or a proposed process.

You remain responsible for your healthcare decisions and for seeking appropriate support. Do not discontinue medication, treatment or professional care because of information discussed during a We of the Wild session.

Suitability, boundaries and outcomes

The Free 15-Min Connection Chat is optional for most people. I may require one when suitability, safety or scope needs clarification. I may decline, pause or discontinue a service where needs fall outside my competence, the work cannot be undertaken safely, another form of support appears more appropriate, important safety information has not been disclosed, professional boundaries cannot be maintained, or the working relationship is no longer appropriate.

Every person responds differently. No particular outcome is promised or guaranteed.

Clients under 18

A parent or legal guardian must consent before I work with a person under 18. Their presence is considered according to the young person’s age and capacity, the nature of the session, the young person’s wishes, safety and relevant legal or ethical responsibilities. A young person’s own willingness is respected. Parental consent does not override their refusal to engage with a technique or continue a session.

Privacy arrangements and their limits will be explained before work begins. Information may be disclosed where required or authorised by law or where there is a serious safety concern.

03

Before a session

Intake Forms and Preparation

New neuro-somatic clients receive a confidential Tally intake form automatically after booking through Acuity. Please complete it at least 48 hours before the appointment so I have adequate time to review it.

If the form is incomplete, the session may need to be adapted or rescheduled where there is not enough information to proceed safely. An incomplete form does not automatically attract a penalty. I will contact you where practicable.

Complete the form privately and provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge. Do not send detailed health information through the general website contact form, social-media messages or SMS. Returning clients may be asked to provide an update when circumstances change or sufficient time has passed.

04

Your information

Privacy and Health Records

Commitment and information collected

We of the Wild respects the privacy of clients, enquirers, workshop participants and website visitors. Personal and health information is handled in accordance with applicable Australian and Victorian privacy requirements.

Depending on how you interact with We of the Wild, information may include your name and contact details; date of birth; appointment, payment and attendance information; intake responses and relevant health history; session notes and observations; communications; emergency or guardian details; information provided for geomancy work; workshop and accessibility information; marketing preferences; and limited technical information generated by the website and service providers.

Payment-card details are processed by the payment provider and are not intentionally recorded in clinical notes.

Why information is collected

Information is collected where reasonably necessary to respond to enquiries, assess suitability, provide and administer services, support safe and continuous practice, manage bookings and payments, maintain appropriate records, meet legal or professional obligations, improve administration, and send communications where separate marketing consent has been given.

How information is collected and used

Information may be collected through conversation, intake and consent forms, Acuity Scheduling, Tally, email, Zoom, the website, payment services, workshop registrations and information you choose to provide. Information about another person should be provided only where you have lawful authority or consent, unless another legal basis applies.

Personal and health information is used primarily to provide and administer your service. It is not sold. It may be disclosed with your consent; to service providers needed to operate the practice; to an authorised representative; to advisers, insurers or regulators where reasonably necessary; where required or authorised by law; or where permitted to lessen or prevent a serious threat to life, health or safety.

Marketing consent is separate from consent to receive a service. Health information will not be added to Mailchimp or used for marketing segmentation.

Digital services and overseas storage

We of the Wild uses third-party services including Acuity Scheduling, Tally, Zoom, Mailchimp, the website host and a connected payment processor. Some providers store or process information outside Australia. Tally states that form data is stored in Europe, and other providers may use international infrastructure. Reasonable steps will be taken to select reputable providers, limit information shared and configure services appropriately.

Do not send sensitive health information through Instagram, Facebook, ordinary SMS or the general website contact form.

Security, retention, access and correction

Reasonable safeguards are used to protect information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification and disclosure. These include password-protected accounts, appropriate device security, limited access and avoiding unnecessary duplication across systems.

No digital method is entirely risk-free. A suspected data breach will be contained, assessed and documented, and notifications will be made where required.

Adult health records will generally be retained for at least seven years after the last health service. Records created while a client was under 18 will generally be retained until the client reaches 25, or for seven years after the last service, whichever is later. Records will be securely deleted, destroyed or de-identified when lawful.

You may request access to, or correction of, personal and health information held about you by emailing kali@weofthewild.com.au. Identity may need to be verified. Access may be subject to lawful exceptions and permitted administrative charges.

Email and online communication

Email and online platforms carry privacy risks. Please use the designated business email for administrative communication and avoid unnecessary sensitive detail. Messages may become part of your record where they are relevant to the service.

Testimonials, images and recordings

Testimonials, identifying stories, photographs, video and audio recordings will not be published without separate permission. Consent to receive a service is not consent to publicity. Permission may be withdrawn for future use, although material already lawfully printed or distributed may not always be recoverable.

Privacy enquiries and complaints

Privacy questions, access requests and complaints may be sent to Kali Yaziji at kali@weofthewild.com.au. I will acknowledge a complaint and seek to respond fairly within a reasonable time.

If appropriate, you may also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner or the Victorian Health Complaints Commissioner.

05

Remote appointments

Online and Surrogate Sessions

Your environment and technology

Join from a private place where you feel safe to speak and participate. Please minimise interruptions, use a stable internet connection and do not join while driving or doing anything that requires your attention.

If connection problems occur, we may pause, reconnect, move to an agreed alternative or reschedule the remaining time. If my systems materially prevent the service, no additional fee applies. If the issue arises from your equipment or environment, we will decide fairly whether the remaining time can be used or transferred.

Neither party may record an online session without the other’s prior express consent. Consider who may be able to hear or enter your space.

Surrogate muscle testing

Where appropriate and with your consent, I may use my own body as a surrogate or conduit for muscle testing during an online session. This is an exploratory kinesiology process, not a medical test or remote medical diagnosis.

I will explain how I propose to work. You may ask questions, decline surrogate testing or withdraw consent. If this process is essential to the booked service and you do not wish to proceed, we will discuss another format or end the session.

Location and emergencies

At the beginning of an online session, I may confirm your current location and an emergency contact where reasonably necessary for safety. Online sessions are not suitable for immediate crisis or emergency support.

06

Home and land

Geomancy and Remote Property Services

This section applies to the Full Geomancy Site Assessment + Harmonisation, which includes comprehensive remote assessment, remediation or harmonisation where indicated, a 30-minute findings call and two follow-up check-ins, and to the focused Geomancy Snapshot assessment.

The Geomancy Snapshot is assessment only. It does not include full remediation, full harmonisation, complete clearing or a detailed written report.

Remote nature and information supplied

Geomancy services are conducted remotely using information supplied by the client and do not ordinarily include an in-person property inspection. You are responsible for providing accurate property details and any plans, photographs, history or context reasonably required. You confirm that you are entitled to provide the material and request the service.

Do not obtain information through trespass, surveillance or another unlawful method. Avoid sharing unnecessary personal information about occupants or third parties.

Scope and limitations

Geomancy explores energetic and relational aspects of a site. It is not a building, engineering, environmental, pest, electrical, geological, planning, valuation, conveyancing or pre-purchase inspection.

It does not replace independent professional advice, legal searches, due diligence or physical inspection. Decisions about purchasing, selling, occupying, altering or investing in property remain yours. No sale, purchase, financial, health or property outcome is guaranteed.

Commencement, cancellation and findings

Remote work may begin before a scheduled findings call. The general cancellation policy applies until assessment or preparation has begun. Once work has begun, a refund will take account of work completed and costs reasonably committed. When assessment or remediation has been substantially completed, the service is ordinarily non-refundable, subject to rights under Australian Consumer Law.

If necessary information is not supplied, the work may be delayed. If the service cannot proceed after reasonable attempts to obtain the required information, an appropriate administration or completed-work amount may be retained and the balance refunded.

Findings reflect the agreed scope and the information available at the time. Reports, diagrams and recordings are for the client’s personal use unless agreed otherwise. They remain We of the Wild intellectual property and may not be reproduced commercially, taught, altered or published without written permission.

Shared learning

GeoKIN Workshops, Groups and Mentoring

GeoKIN bookings and event changes

A workshop place is confirmed when registration and payment are complete. The event listing will state the date, location, duration, amount, participant numbers, prerequisites and what to bring. Final participant-cancellation windows remain under review and will be stated clearly before an event is opened for booking.

An event may change because of weather, site access, facilitator illness, safety concerns, insufficient enrolment or circumstances beyond reasonable control. If We of the Wild cancels an event, you may choose a transfer, credit or full refund of the event amount. Unless required by law, We of the Wild is not responsible for separate travel, accommodation or other personal expenses.

Field safety and participation

GeoKIN workshops may occur outdoors or on uneven ground and may involve weather, water, vegetation, wildlife and other natural hazards. Follow reasonable safety instructions, remain within agreed boundaries and advise me beforehand of accessibility or health considerations relevant to participation.

You are responsible for suitable clothing, footwear, hydration, sun or weather protection, personal medication and working within your capacity. Alcohol and non-prescribed intoxicating substances are not permitted during training.

I may refuse or end participation where conduct is unsafe, significantly disruptive, infringes another person’s boundaries or prevents the group from proceeding. Refunds are not ordinarily provided where participation ends for these reasons.

Prerequisites, group privacy and recording

Some workshops stand alone and others build on earlier skills. Where prerequisites are stated, participants are responsible for meeting them. Contact me before booking if uncertain.

Participants must respect the privacy of others. Personal stories and identifying information should not be repeated outside the group without permission. Complete confidentiality cannot be guaranteed in a group because other participants’ conduct is outside my control.

No participant may photograph, film or record another participant without express permission. We of the Wild will seek separate consent before using identifiable images or recordings for publicity.

Astral Temple and group journeys

Group journeys and Astral Temple offer guided inner exploration, shared practice and connection. They are not medical treatment, psychotherapy, crisis care or a substitute for individual healthcare. Participation is voluntary. You may keep your camera off where the format permits, decline to share, pause or leave.

Please join from a safe and private location. Do not participate while driving or while affected by alcohol or non-prescribed intoxicating substances. Recording or distributing a group session is not permitted without prior written agreement and the consent of everyone identifiable in the recording.

Sessions may include guided imagery and symbolic, energetic, animist or spiritual content. You remain responsible for your interpretation, boundaries and discernment. Astral Temple is offered on a casual, donation-based basis through Buy Me a Chai. A donation does not create an entitlement to individual assessment, ongoing access or a particular outcome.

Online mentoring

Online mentoring is educational and reflective. It supports discernment, ethical practice, dowsing, energetic boundaries and relationship with place. It does not confer a qualification, licence or professional accreditation unless expressly stated.

Intellectual property

Workshop materials, processes, diagrams, recordings and resources are for the registered participant’s personal learning and practice unless stated otherwise. They may not be copied, sold, taught, uploaded, distributed or used to create derivative commercial material without written permission.

Raising a concern

Feedback, Complaints and the Victorian Code

I welcome respectful feedback and take concerns seriously. Please email kali@weofthewild.com.au with your name and preferred contact method, the service and date concerned, a clear description of what occurred, and the outcome you are seeking if known.

I aim to acknowledge a complaint within five business days. I may ask for more information and will seek to provide a fair response within 20 business days where practicable. Complex matters may take longer, and I will keep you informed. Making a complaint will not result in adverse treatment.

Complaint information will be handled privately and shared only as reasonably necessary to assess the concern, provide a response or meet legal and professional obligations.

Privacy complaints may also be made to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner where applicable.
